We've been talking about flying with Ro again. The last time we flew ourselves, Ro kept whipping his headset off and I had to sit in the back seat to keep them on him. We devised a game to get him used to his headsets. MrM and I wore our headseats and pretended it was the coolest thing to do. Sure enough, Ro wanted to wear his own, and asked for more when we took them off.
Who loves his headsets?

And why, yes, he does have a fabulous new hair cut. I moved his booster chair to the bathtub and groomed my baby there. We sang together and he got to play with the shower. This cut wasn't as traumatic (for either of us) as the previous one :)

Singing together has become a daily commute routine for us. We do alphabet songs, counting songs, animal songs and whatever else I come up with. A few mornings ago, he cleverly blended two genres.
Me: Aa Aa
Ro: Aa Aa
Me: Bee Boo
Ro: Bee Boo
Me: Cee Caat
Ro: MEOW!
He does know his animal sounds well :)
He has more words and his signs are getting better. He can say baum (German - tree), fish, milch (German: milk), p(l)ease, nein (german - no), no, and a vague attempt at Pixel. He calls yogurt "baby" because of the little baby picture on all his yogurt tubs. So don't be shocked if you see him opening the fridge and asking for a baby :)
Here is his signing demo. Warning: Don't learn signs from Ro. They are all "Ro -versions" of the real thing :)
One (he knows one and five. All others seem to confuse his fingers)
More
Please
He likes to sign some words (like Done and More) and say others (please, milk). It might be time to acquire a sign book and learn more myself.
