Ro - 27 month update

What has this silly boy been up to?
I think the things he says cover it pretty well:
No mommy do it ( = Mommy shouldn't do it)
MY do it ( = I will do it)
All done nite-nite!
Too loud! (any time we play the piano without him)

His manners have suddenly improved. We hear a lot of "please" and "thanks" from him. He also sneezes and says "I did a Bless-you", and is generous with bless-you's if anyone else sneezes. Cracks me up every time.

The biggest change in the last few months is his attachment to specific people. He asks for his friends by name, and sometimes for their parents, several times a day. He looks forward to seeing his daycare friends every morning. Day care in turn keeps us on our toes by having random silly things like "crazy sock day". Good thing Kuttu eats a lot of socks and leaves us with mismatched crazy pairs like this.

He continues to climb a bunch of things he shouldn't be climbing at his age. We don't stop him either. Sometimes he gets to the top of whatever he is climbing and needs to be rescued.
He is interacting more and more with the dogs, and his interactions with Kuttu have improved a lot. Kuttu used to be disinterested in Ro for the longest time, but now gets all waggy-waggy when Ro goes to pet him. When the dogs are on the couch, Ro often covers them in blankets and then snuggles in saying he is going nite-nite with Kuttu-Pixel. It might be a huge win-win for us if we can move K&P from our room to Ro's ! ;-)

Ro is definitely growing up and turning into a little man every passing day. I both love the boy he is turning into and miss the baby he used to be. And that will be the story of the rest of my life!
