On the inside, it is a eclectic-International grocery store (in a miniature World Market kind of way) coupled with a dining area that has Indian sheets and mood lighting for ambiance.
The service was laid back (beverage service was SLOW) despite being fairly empty on a Sunday afternoon. The food, however, was good.Clockwise from left: Lamb stew special, cauliflower rice bowl (vegetarian), Indian-style beef wrap.
They only had booster seats and no high chairs. We couldn't contain the baby and he unleashed his inner performer by running up to the stage.
And yes, they have live music on some days, but pictures are not indicative of typical performer cuteness.
In all, a good casual eat, nice flavors and the chance to stock up on some delicious dark chocolate wrapped in hemp :)

The food certainly looks good! I love Indian food - so many wonderful flavours and textures to be enjoyed!
Ef and Linda used to live around the corner from the Whip In. This is going to be our first stop in Austin so we can bring the soon-to-be parents something good to nibble on and drink!
The owners are from Oakland! Very cool people.
