Remote for my camera

Shortly before the new camera arrived, I invested in a small camera toy - the remote clicker. I sat on my bed with a manual 50mm lens, the remote, my halogen reading light, and took some pictures.

Hey! Whose hand is that, adjusting the light?

See me pressing the shutter release? See it?
Pixel - always ready to model

In all, I approve of my little remote. I can see it being useful for tripod mounted work where either the speed is too slow to be sticking my finger on the camera body, or pre-focused self portraits and group shots. Or maybe if I want to be a sneaky person and leave my camera innocently sitting around and click from across the street. Yeah, those clicking sounds will really help me track the thief down :)
