The oddest place to find a hydrant

I was out on the Bull Creek trails again today and came upon the strangest sight - a fire hydrant right in the middle of the creek. Yes, it will be useful when the creek is dry and the greenbelt catches fire, but you have to admit it is an odd sight! I only had my camera-phone available, so I'll entertain you with some low resolution images for a change :)

My shoes weren't hot enough or on fire, so we saw no fire hydrant action. But I bet the dogs on the trail love this little toy!
