My kind of Sunday

I like my Sunday mornings to be outdoors and with relative serenity (relative to normal with children). This past Sunday I filed a request with my non-walking husband to go for a very short walk in our neighborhood's wildflower preserve.

Ro was as pleased as I was.

He enjoyed finding little bugs and staring at them.

The wildflower display was still on, bluebonnets from early spring replaced by whites & yellows.

We followed this up with a visit to Progress Cafe (upon the sad discovery that Cafe Mundi had closed), where I ordered a large hot chocolate which arrived in something resembling a giant soup bowl.

Well, I shouldn't have worried about not finishing it.

And one more of Ro, just because.
