Wreck Dive at Devil's Backbone

My first wreck dive and the hubby's first ever dive. It was a shallow dive since the man was doing a "Discover Scuba" dive, but we both have pretty crappy ears and were happy to stay shallow anyway!

For the fish enthusiasts -we also saw red grouper, wrasses, and blue tangs aplently. While snorkeling, we saw a single trumpetfish and a giant crab, and we swam through schools and schools of minnows, and met a curious silver needlefish. It was a fun and beautiful experience!

Dogs and boy

Not to be outdone by seriously cute pictures of kids & their dogs on the internet, I demanded a cuddling session from my kiddos. I'm not sure it was wildly successful, but some of us had fun doing this.

Kuttu & Ro started sitting like siblings who just had a fight.

 When Ro decided to cuddle, Kuttu turned towards him, and hence away from me. He also turned into a huge white blob in the foreground. Not cool.

 Pixel was very mistrustful of this whole setup. What was I planning? Should he trust me?

 He turned away embarrassed.

Somehow, they find our patio every year. This year they set up nest between two chair cushions during a very rainy week. Our patio use has been somewhat limited since we can't move the chair involved. :) Here they are, fuzzy heads and baby wings.
